Sound of Death Note is the original soundtrack for the live-action film Death Note and the first soundtrack for the Death Note live-action film series. It was composed and arranged by Kenji Kawai.

Track 27 is an untitled hidden track sometimes referred to as a "message from Ryuk," but this is not a title. After about 13 seconds of silence, Ryuk speaks: "Hmm? You can hear my voice. Well then, I will tell you specially: Light's lifespan and L's name... I can see them."[3] The track is not included on the French release by Wasabi Records.[4]

Trivia[]

  • The soundtrack was originally priced at ¥2500.
  • At purchase, it also came with the original Japanese Death Note DVD.
  • Five tracks were later remixed and released on the Triple Club Re-mix soundtrack: 1. A Heart Attack (remixed twice), 5. Disturbance, 9. Logic, 17. Memo Paper, and 18. Be Cute.
  • The hidden track 27 is alternatively referred to as "Believe in Yourself" online, but it's unclear where this title comes from.[5]
