A Japanese-language production of Death Note: The Musical will begin in November 2025 in Japan at the Tokyo Tatemono Brillia Hall (Toshima Arts Culture Theater) in Tokyo. It will be the fourth Japanese-language production of Death Note: The Musical after the 2020 Japanese production. It is also the 10 year anniversary of the first Japanese production in 2015.
On May 16, 2025, HoriPro announced the new production.
Cast[]
Kenji Urai and Megumi Hamada return to the production. Urai previously portrayed Light and will be taking the role of Ryuk, making him the first performer to portray two different lead roles.

The location for the 2025 production has been announced to be the Tokyo Tatemono Brillia Hall at the Toshima Arts Culture Theater in Tokyo, Japan. This is the same location where the 2020 production opened.
